Semper Curious is a space for thoughtful people with a sustained interest in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and contemporary issues. Its aim is intellectual pleasure and personal growth.
In theory, many resources are available to the independent learner. In practice, without carefully chosen materials and the guidance and encouragement of others, exploring new areas can be frustrating, unproductive — and not much fun.
For this reason, many inquisitive people adopt a more casual approach, clicking a link here, a name there, but without developing an integrated understanding. This can be enjoyable, but it is often superficial and haphazard — and rarely satisfying for complex or nuanced subjects.
Semper Curious supports curiosity in flexible, compact formats designed for busy lives. Each experience is self-contained and requires only a modest investment of time. At the same time, the offerings are coherently organized to foster long-term interest and intellectual depth. Small-group discussions with peers and university guest scholars are central to the experience. The result is a mentored journey through interesting and important subjects.
